According to the Four Rivers Association of Realtors, their upcoming report states:
“The median price for New Braunfels homes increased eight percent year-over-year to $216,000, while the median price for San Marcos homes rose 15 percent to $171,500 during the same time frame.
The monthly housing inventory in New Braunfels was 3.6 months, a 0.1 month decrease from June 2014, while housing inventory in San Marcos decreased 0.4 months to 2.7 months. The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University cites that 6.5 months of inventory represents a market in which supply and demand for homes is balanced.”
Meanwhile, homes continue to sell very quickly… so if you are looking to buy, be prepared to make a move.
